Community of Interest
The Aging in Community Education and Research (ACER) Community of Interest provides an informal opportunity for Humber faculty, staff, students, and external participants to connect for conversations about their shared interest in topics related to aging. The community meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month from 12:00–1:00 p.m. virtually. Currently, we are hosting the Humber ACER Innovation and Impact Series. These sessions are designed to showcase innovative approaches to research and community impact, with presenters from diverse areas of aging sharing their expertise and perspectives. Join us to learn from leading experts and be part of the conversation shaping the future of aging.

Sue Lantz, BA, MPA
Sue Lantz, BA, MPA, is a Founder & Managing Director of Collaborative Aging, where she works with organizations and communities to develop innovative approaches to aging in place. She is widely recognized for advancing inclusive, community-based housing and care models for older adults and people with disabilities. Sue has contributed to national and local aging initiatives and serves in advisory roles with organizations such as National Institute on Ageing and 880 Cities, helping shape policies that support independence, accessibility, and connected communities.
